Citylabs are held within the context of the innovation marathon City Challenge Crowdhackathon #smartcity2 and aim to enable the development of cities through the implementation of applications by using new technologies. By holding the citylabs, Central Union of Greek Municipalities enables citizens of every city to present their ideas and find solutions to local problems through public consultation.

The suggestions – ideas will be evaluated and the best teams will be invited to present their idea on the CityLab day. At this stage, it is not necessary to have a code implemented, all you have to do is present your idea. Obviously, the existence of a code will be an advantage.
The first three teams to be distinguished in each CityLab will be able to participate for free (all costs covered) in the Innovation Marathon which will be held from June 28th to July 1st in Athens, and win prizes, gifts as well as gain experience.
