The Youth for a Digital Region

The Smart Sterea Hackathon is an initiative of the Region of Central Greece with the aim of creating original applications and presenting
innovative ideas for society, economy, local development and digital transformation.

Smart Sterea Hackathon will take place on June 30 – July 2, hybridly, with a physical presence
at Municipal Art Gallery “Dimitrios Mitaras” in Chalkida and remotely with videoconferencing tools.

The awarding of the teams that will be distinguished will take place at a later date,
in Lamia, at a place and time to be announced by the organization committee.

Goals

The Smart Sterea Hackathon has the
following main goals:

Creating a culture of innovation and partnerships.

Supporting young and innovative entrepreneurship, opportunities for young people, combating unemployment.

Supporting the regional economy, as contestants from all over Greece will be able to participate.

Highlighting smart and innovative solutions to the problems and challenges that concern both society as a whole and citizens dealing with related issues.

Improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations dealing with social issues/social actions by leveraging new emerging technologies.

Interface with the technological innovation and entrepreneurship community of our country.

Creating an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in actions with a social impact.

Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά σας καλούμε στο ενημερωτικό Open Day του Smart Sterea Hackathon στο οποίο θα γίνει παρουσίαση των στόχων, των θεματικών ενοτήτων και της διαδικασίας του μαραθωνίου καινοτομίας.

To Open Day θα πραγματοποιηθεί απομακρυσμένα με την χρήση εργαλείων τηλεδιάσκεψης την Πέμπτη 27 Απριλίου 2023 στις 17:00.
